Nine new cine lenses announced by Nikon

Nikon has announced the development of a series of nine new cine lenses, aimed at cinema and high-end television productions.

The NIKKOR Z CINEMA T1.9 VV series of lenses will cover various focal lengths, including the NIKKOR Z CINEMA 50mm T1.9 VV.

In a first for NIKKOR, the lenses will feature an imaging circle that is not only large enough for Nikon’s full-frame sensors, but will also cover the VV format of the RED V-RAPTOR [X] cinema camera.

The lenses will feature a highly precise autofocus system and offer the rendering performance and practicality demanded by the cinema industry. Keep an eye on Nikon channels for further information.
