Having spent years working primarily with cinema cameras, Chris found in Nikon the ideal complement to his professional workflow, one that bridges high-end photography and cinematic video capability within a single, reliable system. For underwater work, he relies on the Nikon Z 8 paired with a Nauticam housing, a combination that opened an entirely new dimension of storytelling for him beneath the surface. The NIKKOR Z 24–70mm f/2.8 S has become his most-reached-for lens, valued for its sharpness and adaptability in fast-moving, unpredictable conditions. Across freezing Arctic winters, tropical heat, and ocean depths, the consistency of his Nikon equipment allows Chris to remain focused entirely on the story.
